Visit Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra Towns and enjoy a delicious local lunch, where you'll be introduced to Portuguese flavors and the way the country revolves around the table. Visit the Resort town of Cascais, once a fishing village that evolved into a safe harbor for royal families and exiles from all over Europe escaping from WWII.
Stroll around its lovely bay or narrow cobblestone paved central streets. Depart then to Sintra Town, the idylic UNESCO cultural landscape that has been praised by poets and writers from all over the world for its fairy tale like ambiance.
Before returning to the pier there will be time for a visit to Belem known mostly for its landmarks which are a reminder of the Age of Discoveries. A short visit will be made to the church of the Jeronimos Monastery a 16th century architectural jewel declared UNESCO heritage in 1983.
