Champagne Beach Snorkel: Enjoy Dominica’s protected marine-life while snorkeling on this world-famous beach. At the ‘bubbles’, it will be very much like swimming in a glass of champagne as the gases rise from submerged volcanic vents on the sea floor. Closer to the rocky shoreline, enjoy the tepid surf and experience the warming effect as the hot volcanic gases heat up the sea water. At the coral reefs, juvenile and adult fish as well as colorful sponge and coral growths are in abundance.
Scott’s Head Point Snorkel: Explore the tropical juvenile reef and see colorful fish and other marine life. Just a few feet into the water, a 70 ft. drop off opens a new underwater world. With a little luck, you might see snappers, squids, octopuses, and hawksbill turtles.

Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age – 4 years. Maximum age – 70 years. Maximum weight – 270 lbs. Guests must sign a waiver form prior to departing. Guests must negotiate steps and walk over uneven areas to access the snorkel area on the beach.
What to Bring: Swimsuit, beach towel, change of clothing, and bio-degradable sunscreen. Water shoes are recommended.
Good to Know: A tour guide will assist guests in the water. Tour order may vary. There are bathrooms available at both locations. Champagne beach is covered with pebbles.
