Panama City Tour

Panama is the only place in the world where you can arrive on the Atlantic Ocean side and in 1-hour be on the Pacific side. Your excursion begins when you board your air-conditioned bus for a drive to the capital, Panama City. Your first stop will be at the ruins of Old Panama, founded in 1519, where you'll have a guided tour. The last leg of your tour takes you to Casco Antiguo or the Colonial City. Founded in 1673, it was built to replace the previous capital that was destroyed by Captain Henry Morgan when he attacked the city. Casco Anitguo is full of historic monuments that you will see and enjoy. You'll visit the Cathedral Plaza and walk the historic Las Bovedas, a walkway that contains the history of the French Canal engraved on its walls. A beverage and light snack will be provided prior to your transfer back to the ship in Colon.
